UNIZ, a firm specializing in stereolithography 3D printing, has announced the debut of their IBEE LCD machine on the Kickstarter site.

The IBEE system is a $450 entry-level machine that UNIZ describes as a 'high-quality consumer 3D printer with industrial capabilities.' It was developed over the course of 2020 and is supposed to produce precise and crisp results with a smooth finish.

UNIZ's latest 3D printing solution has a build volume of 192 x 120 x 200 mm, a print speed of up to 80 mm/hr, and a collimated light source that 'diversifies at smaller, tighter angles' to ensure constant high accuracy printing over the build area. Additionally, it includes a 4K monochrome LCD display, supports the STL, OBJ, SLC, AMF, and 3MF file formats, and has a minimum feature size of 0.2mm and a maximum resolution of 49.8um.

The UNIZ Maker software complements the company's printing technology. Designed for ease of use, it automatically determines the optimal orientation for printing and adds supports prior to commencing the print. Meanwhile, UNIZ Cloud is a consumer model store where customers may browse and download 3D printable models in addition to gaining access to multi-printer administration, remote monitoring, and cloud printing features.
