Large outdoor wireless WiFi coverage projects usually involve the deployment and installation of wireless Ruijie outdoor AP. Due to the complex outdoor environment, there are more issues to consider.

When installing and debugging the outdoor wireless access point, it can be activated and configured in advance to ensure normal and stable operation before being installed on the pole.

The connection direction of the network port lightning arrester must not be reversed, otherwise, it may cause malfunction or damage to the equipment

The antenna should be installed within a 45-degree angle range of the lightning rod, otherwise, the lightning rod will not function.

When connecting an outdoor access point to an antenna, be sure to pay attention to the correspondence between the antenna interface and the RF port of the AP, that is, the antenna 2.4G corresponds to AP2.4G, and the antenna 5G corresponds to AP5G.

Do a good job of waterproof protection. The AP itself has a high level of protection, but some interfaces are exposed during installation, and waterproof protection must be done.

Do a good job of lightning protection, and the outdoor AP, antenna feeder lightning arrester, network interface lightning arrester, and lightning rod must be grounded.

Anti-theft and anti-human damage, all exposed network cables need to be covered with PVC pipes or metal pipes. If the network port lightning arrester is not placed indoors, it should be placed in an electrical box.

If landscape factors are considered and AP equipment needs to be decorated (such as painting), the impact of painting materials on AP signals needs to be considered.
