ESPN's Mel Kiper Jr. has been synonymous in The Madden 23 coins Draft since it first became an event and even though many disagree with his views, there's no doubt that few people in the world of media scouting are more informed about what teams look for. So, when he posts an update on a draft, it's well worthwhile to look into.

On Wednesday we saw a brand new model from Kiper Jr, and there are some surprises.

"Sauce" Gardner rising to the rank of No. 2 . overall at the Madden NFL 23 Draft, while Derek Stingley falls

Ahmad "Sauce" Gardner has more or less settled to be the no. 1 cornerback in the draft due to his unique physical and athletic abilities. However, Kiper is the first person to put him number. 2 overall with the Lions.

This will mean that Gardner the highest selected cornerback ever. Although this is an important area, and Detroit could be a nightmare by the combination of Gardner or Jeff Odukah (if they can be healthy) I'm not sure how to invest in a player that highly on a cornerback here.

The flipside is that Kiper is adamant about Derek Stingley Jr. falling all up to No. 12 for the Vikings. This is a player who was thought to be in the top 5. I'm sure the fans of Minnesota will be excited for this, but I'd be shocked if either Sauce go this high, or Stingley Jr. go this low.

If this happened, it would certainly change this year's Top 10. and it'll be something to watch with interest.

Bet on the 2022 Madden NFL 23 Draft at DraftKings Sportsbook The pass rush run at the top of the list. 10

There's plenty of talent in the pass rusher position in the draft, but Kiper was the very first to go all-in on how much teams admire these players. Four edge rushers are being picked as Top 10 with Florida State's Jermaine Johnson as the player that no one else has thought of to date.

The cost is the loss of the offensive tackles, that are ranked lower than some have projected. There is a chance of this happening, but the idea of getting the third fourth-best pass rusher instead of the likes of Evan Neal or Charles Cross isn't one that I like very well.

There's only one running back in my head worth a 1st round selection, and I believe that he's a great player. Kiper says an Iowa State's Breece Hall dropping to No. 38 in the Jets that is a shock to me.

Hall is a perfect blend of speed and power, with rare traits. I can't comprehend what he would do with the Buffalo Bills passing on him at No. 26. considering a do-everything back is really the only thing offense is missing. In fact, I'm amazed that the Texans would let him go either.

I'm convinced that people are going to be stunned by how high Hall can reach. I could think of buy mut coins madden 23 as a teenager when a team has enough faith.
