Today I would like to share my impressions of such a beautiful and amazing city as Dubai. This city has been heard for the last ten years, and this is not surprising. The pace of growth and development of infrastructure is simply staggering; penthouses, parks and attractions are growing on the site of deserts, which are simply impossible to pass by.

I was lucky to plunge into the atmosphere of this city and country more than once, but each time the desire to part was less and less. It's strange, but it's like my city, despite the fact that the cultural and religious traditions are completely different. The liveliness and colorfulness of the country simply cannot leave you indifferent, but still I will start in order.

To save money, we decided to live not in Dubai itself, but in the neighboring emirate - Sharjah. Hotel prices are lower there, and the distance allows you to easily get to any point in the desired city in the shortest possible time. For the money that you settle in Dubai in the city center, in Sharjah you can live by the sea. The choice fell on the Sharjah Grand Hotel, a solid 4 star with a good buffet and service. The hotel has a swimming pool, and even a small water slide. We took 2 meals a day, as we often left for Dubai and had dinner there already.

In Dubai, for me, a resident of an ordinary provincial town, everything turned out to be unusual and interesting. I especially liked walking along the streets of the city, paying attention to the people around, we are so different, but at the same time the same. The people I met along the way were very polite and friendly, the main thing is to observe the measures of decency and not behave provocatively, you understand, this is a very conservative place.

I am a terrible shopaholic, so Dubai mall has become a small paradise for me, although no, a big one. Just imagine 1200 stores. If you decide to go around all the departments, you will not see the sea, believe me. I spent more than one day there. However, in addition to a large number of shops, there is something to see. Right in the shopping center you can visit one of the largest aquariums in the world. This miracle, made in the form of a tunnel, amazes with its power and beauty. Going inside, it seems that you are just walking in the middle of the ocean. It's breathtaking, to be honest. And sometimes they hold such exhibitions there, I was lucky to see the remains of a real dinosaur.

Right next to the Dubai mall you can visit the famous tallest building in the world - the Burj Khalifa. But be prepared, you will have to stand in a long line. The ticket cost us $100 per person. First of all, I went into the elevator, which in a minute, IN A MINUTE, traveled more than 120 floors (already at this moment I was breathless with admiration and joy). Further, leaving the elevator, I immediately wanted to quickly get to the observation deck to see what was down there and how it was, to look from a height of 126 floors. Feelings were mixed, because, on the one hand, you feel the power and grandeur of this structure, and on the other hand, disappointment - there is almost one desert around, but still very beautiful. Therefore, my advice is to climb the Burj Khalifa before sunset, and from there observe this wonderful picture, then you will like it 100%.

The last and most vivid memory is and will be - the Dubai "dancing" fountain. Gorgeous music combined with light and the element of water do their job. Grace, sophistication and enchantment - all this is contained in the fountains. Seemingly so inconspicuous during the day, and so charming at night, I still don’t know a single person who would not like this attraction. You can enjoy the views at dinner at the restaurant "The Meat Co", just be careful, you need to go to this restaurant knowing English well and specifying prices, because. you can "get into trouble" by accidentally ordering a piece of meat for about 500 dollars. Prices are more democratic, and meat is worth the money.

Everyone is always interested in the question: “But how do they treat our girls there? Is it worth it to be afraid that you will be seized and taken away in an unknown direction? And what is the best thing to wear there? I was 18 and I was vacationing with my family. In terms of clothing, no one made any comments to me, and did not look askance. It’s +40 outside, so I went in shorts and T-shirts (on the territory of the hotel), and already in Dubai itself I tried to wear something more closed and conservative (a dress just above the knee, etc.), just as a tribute to the people and this country . I saw a lot of European girls in very short shorts, with bare shoulders - no one was pointing fingers or drooling.

What I didn't like was the driving style in the UAE. The cars, as you can imagine, are mostly new, luxurious, costing more than one thousand dollars, but they are all broken. The driving culture in the country is not at the highest level, in traffic jams I have seen enough of such changes that my inner driver was horrified. In general, hitting a car in Dubai is normal, no one pays attention to it. Taxi drivers are a separate sore subject, I hope it's just that I was not so lucky, because several times I came across inept taxi drivers. My trips ended in spoiled mood and nausea. But I really liked the buggy dubai desert

And finally, I want to tell you about a very interesting offer in some expensive hotels in Dubai. On weekdays, hotels offer buffet restaurant(s) for a small fee. For example, at the JW Marriott hotel, we had dinner at 3-4 restaurants at once for a very reasonable fee (if my memory serves me - $ 50 / person). Throughout the evening, you have the right to visit all 3-4 halls (departments), where various dishes and cuisines are presented (oysters, lobsters, a huge amount of sushi, all kinds of soups and side dishes, meat, desserts and much more). Our guide told us about this, so do not be afraid to be interested and visit such establishments.

Dubai is a model of development, from which we would do well to borrow the positive that they were able to create. I am pleased with the ideal roads built in the middle of the desert. Paradise green parks, which are maintained with all responsibility and conscientiousness. I would like to believe that everyone who has the opportunity to visit this country will remain as happy and inspired as I am. Drop all prejudices, and rush towards the new and interesting.
