So many games nowadays are making that leap. We've seen Black Desert Mobile in recent months EVE Online is getting into the action using EVE Echoes. However, POE Currency could be among the few games that provides the sort of experience which lends itself well to a mobile platform. As state EVE Online's, it loop isn't as complicated, as well as the mechanisms themselves are well designed for the mobile experience. But how does it fare?

Rather well, at least in this stage, even though it's not without room for advancement. Visuallythis looks like Path, though the visuals are obviously pared back some than the PC version. The textures pop the small phone screen (my playthroughs were in an iPhone 11), providing the world all around your character the fine detail needed on a smaller display. You can pick between a Marauder, Witch or Ranger, similar to the Path of Exile two demo on the show floor, and I decided to go to test out how it feels up close the action.

The harder the enemy you create, the more richly you'll be rewarded. If you are lucky, you'll even get some Catalysts, a new kind of currency that enriches certain properties on your rings, amulet and buckle. We are incredibly excited to see players fare against the challenges that are new, as well as what challenges they give themselves. And it's all 100% free to playwith. We hope you'll join us!

Movement is mapped to a digital thumbstick on the left hand side of the screen, and thankfully that thumstick monitors with your hands, meaning your grip drifts a little bit you needn't readjust to control - that the thumbstick will realize this and move with you. Since the rear of the iPhone was becoming so hot, I found that helpful I was constantly adjusting my grip to compensate. Your skills were mapped with three huge buttons to use - the skill bigger than the other two to make it more accessible and centered. In motion, Mobile feels exactly like any other game of POE orbs - you explore a map, shooting out waves of enemies on the way, grabbing any loot while doing so, they fall. And Mobile feels just like a Path experience. As soon as you get to the Atlas (and begin exploring the vast changes), you will even have the ability to take samples out of the potent map supervisors.
