Apple is known for its hardware products such as the iPhone, Apple Watch, and MacBook, but the company's software and services division has become increasingly important. Apple wants you to pay for all its subscription services, but money can't make you. The company's solution is the Apple One, which bundles various services into one package. But how much does it cost, how to order it, and is it worth buying? 

What is Apple One? 

Just as Disney offers bundled access to Disney, Hulu, and ESPN, Apple is doing the same with its growing list of subscription services. But while the Disney package is tied to video streaming services, the Apple One offers everything from storage and messaging to music and video games. Services included with Apple One plans: 

 Apple Music 

 Apple TV 

 Apple Arcade 

 iCloud 

 Apple News 

 Apple Fitness 

 Apple One 

Create an account To join an Apple One plan, you must have an iPhone with iOS 14 or later. is required. , iPad with iPadOS 14 or later, or  Mac with macOS Big Sur 11.1 or later. Using Apple Fitness with Apple TV requires tvOS 14 or later. The fitness service no longer requires an Apple Watch to work, but must be an Apple Watch Series 3 or later to connect. 

After updating your device, open Settings on your iPhone and iPad, tap your name and select Subscriptions. Under Get Apple One, select the Try Now link and choose a plan. 

Mac can be ordered from the App Store. Click the View Details link at the top of the window, then click the Manage link. For Apple One, select Try Now and select a plan. 

Is the Apple One worth it? 

The Apple One is sure to save you money. Subscribing to Music, TV, and Arcade and paying for 50 GB of iCloud storage will bring you closer to $2,4 per month, saving you $7 per month over the $16.95 single tier. 

Multi-user plans to save even more, with the Family plan at $9/month and the Premier plan at $26/month. 

But whether an Apple One subscription is worth it really depends on the service you use. This is pointless if you have already subscribed to several such services from Apple. But if you're only interested in things like music and TV, you probably don't need to buy Apple Arcade or cloud storage. Unless you're interested in news and training, there's no reason to buy the Premier package.
