While Lost Ark West has much catching up to complete to the KR server, it will likely be a while before the next group of Legion commanders is introduced. Fortunately, the roadmap suggests that a lot more exciting situations are coming this season.

February 2023

Anniversary Celebration

February might find the 1-yr anniversary of Lost Ark entering Western Regions. Though we don’t have specific details yet, we all know there will be special attractions during the festivities. Hopefully, there will even be some cool and exclusive freebies and rewards.

Rowen Content

The first little bit of meaningful PvP content will require center stage within the 2nd month of the season. The Rowen continent is going to be introduced because the newest area for adventurers to understand more about. This land is rich with Sylmael, a precious and coveted resource in Arkesia. This region is a long-forgotten place that when housed a thriving ancient civilization before mysteriously disappeared.

With this news of the abundance of the crimson jewels spread to other continents, various opposing factions have started their journey to harvest these materials on their own. As tension arises between such groups, competition for that Sylmaels will even increase the tendency for bloodshed. However, hostile barbaric nomads will even threaten these warring factions.

Rowen introduces a brand new questline that players can complete when the region is released. However, you'll need item level 1445 to understand more about this new territory. After finishing the primary story missions, you have to choose between the 2 warring factions. By the end of the quest chain, the neutral ground Eliyabeck, which prevents an all-out brawl between the 2 groups, has finally collapsed to ensure that players can participate in open-world PvP.

There are two primary groups that adventurers will join making it possible for open-world combat for them. Each of these two factions believes in a specific doctrine that opposes another alliance. Here would be the warring sides of Rowen:

Preigeli (“Order defeats Chaos each time.”) – A group formed by mercenaries who succeed in using machines. They believe the current chaotic conditions of Rowen result from overindulgence and the land needs strict rules to revive order.

Libertine (“We possess a simple rule. Take around you can.”) – A group formed by pirates and mages who place freedom and passion most of all. They believe the chaos in Rowen was brought on by the restricting and suffocating strict rules set around the people there.

Once you've joined a faction, you can officially join the war to manage Rowen. There are a lot of PvP activities that you can participate in, that will increase your reputation on your chosen side. The ranks are split into 15 tiers, and also you gain Faction exp by killing enemy faction members or participating in daily, weekly, and co-op tasks.

March 2023

Tulubik Battlefield

Aside from Rowen, another critical PvP content is going to be the Tulubik Battlefield. This feature will showcase a large-scale player-versus-player fight comprising 96 adventurers (48v48). The battlefield has multiple objectives that gamers have to accomplish, for example capturing bases and killing a particular number of enemies.

Players can take part in two types of engagements on specified schedules. Both of these matches will occur around the same day. Here are all of the modes for that Tulubik Battlefield:

Regular Match – average 48 vs. 48 on each side

Friend Match – is the place at least 40 players are waiting when the Regular Match’s expired entry time.

To make sure that participants are ready for this content’s trials and tribulations, players must have a minimum of 1490 Item Level and also have achieved Faction Rank 5. Gamers gain Faction EXP from taking part in this large-scale event.

General Fixes and Changes

Aside from the Tulubik Battlefield, there will be a lot of new balancing and events in March. There have not yet been specifics on which changes are going to be implemented. However, we all know that a third Arkpass is going to be included in the March patch.

April 2023

Artist Advanced Class

The long-awaited Specialist class can make its introduction in April 2023. The first advanced job within this field is going to be the Artist, who uses her brush to aid and protect her team. This summoner-type character can harm her enemies by utilizing skill directly attacking her foes or by summoning creatures she will conjure through her art. However, the Artist’s strong suit provides various support moves to empower and protect her teammates in multiple situations. This support class is anticipated to be a welcome addition to the raiding party.

The gameplay from the Artist depends on her Moonfall and Sunrise. Moonfall empowers multiple allies simultaneously, while Sunrise provides substantial healing to some single-party members. Balancing your usage between your two is going to be the mechanic players will have to learn when playing these kinds. These skills may be used when you've generated enough Harmony Orbs by filling your Specialty Meter.

It continues to be noted that you will see several changes that can make their way into the Western version of these kinds. Fortunately, they are all gameplay related. Most of these updates call for aesthetics and costumes since Lost Ark West previously reacted negatively to skimpy suits within the game.

Brelshaza Hard Mode

The Hardmode version from the Phantom Legion Raid is going to be introduced simultaneously with the Artist class launched. This mode can make the fight with Brelshaza more difficult, considering she's already one of the most tedious and challenging bosses players have faced. In addition, the development of HM will mark the entry of Ancient quality gear and accessories. The item level requirement of each gate will even adjust to ensure players are fully prepared for that challenges. Here is the apparatus score required for entry:

Gate 1 & 2 – Item Level 1540

Gate 3 & 4 – Item Level 1550

Gate 5 & 6 – Item Level 1560

Hanumatan Guardian Raid

The movements of certain colossal beings have heavily inspired the initial fighting style of the Martial Artists in Anikka. Hanumatan may be the Solar Guardian who had been once instructed to be reckoned with throughout the Chain War 500 years ago. The hallowed being has now arisen from his slumber after sensing chaos spreading through Arkesia. Unfortunately, this ape-like Guardian has decided that Humans are the reason for the current situation the planet is in.

Adventurers must now stop Hanumatan before he can unleash his fury around the citizens of Arkesia. This guardian will need players to have a minimum of Item Level 1540, which is going to be the highest within the game. Adventures who defeat gargantuan apes will access Ancient accessories drops.

No Details for Specific Content

While we possess a roadmap for the first quarter of 2023, some content must be specified with this update. The female Berzerker is one of the upcoming classes that players are anticipating. It continues to be rumored this job can look sometime within the first few months of the season, but we now have yet to verify this. Other characters, for example, Aeromancer, aren't included in the announcements either.

Aside from upcoming classes, adventurers will also be excited about future Raids, including the Demon Akkan. The Plague Legion Commander has already been available on other servers, including KR and JP. However, there has not been any information on when this boss can come to Lost Ark West. However, you will find speculations that he can look at the end of the season.

While awaiting these updates to visit live, players may take time to benefit from the changes the Wreck the Halls update brought. Adventurers can level up their Summoner characters or fully pay off the six gates of Belshazzar. Make sure to stay updated on any feature announcement from AGS.
