Diablo 3 is a deep dive into Tyrael's story, as he turns into The Fallen Star by tearing off his own wings and Diablo 4 Gold plummeting to Sanctuary in which the descendants of Nephalem reside. When he is joined by a powerful descendant, Tyrael defeats the Prime Evils and takes charge of his Black Soulstone. The moment the Archangel of Death, Maltheal, went after the stone, and then was able to turn on his allies and Tyrael was the one who brought his partner to Pandemonium to end death itself.

Tyrael is able to keep his mortal form . He then reunites with his angelic brethren to become both an aspect of Justice and of Wisdom. Diablo 3 ends with him looking to see if his new mortal friend, who might be corrupted, should be the next enemy in Heaven, Hell, and Sanctuary and even the life itself. Aspect of Justice and Wisdom Aspect of Justice and Wisdom probably won't stand by while Inarius leads an army into Hell in search of his first love, Lilith.

The most recent Diablo 4 cinematic trailer from Blizzard showcases Inarius fighting Lilith Armed forces at both sides. While this footage doesn't include Tyrael's direct involvement, his invention of Horadrim and involvement with the Paladins of Sanctuary suggests that he's involved. Dark and light battles upon the battlefield while the now-mortal Tyrael resides somewhere in the middle.

It is likely that his presence will be experienced through these intermediaries unless events take his hands. Tyrael is still feeling the effects of destroying the Worldstone at the conclusion in Diablo 2. This mystical object protected Sanctuary from Heaven and Hell, and he now protects the region in its place. Tyrael does not appear likely to lead any further ventures into Hell or even go further then his current position at the Pandemonium Fortress, where he might provide advice like Deckard Cain for those who stay and listen.

Five playable Diablo classes have been released so far and all are takes on options from earlier games. Each installment has offered something new Perhaps Tyrael will be a player in the battle and 
Diablo IV Gold help balance the sides by giving players the option to gain angelic or demon-like powers in exchange for obligations to Sanctuary. This type of game mechanic could very easily build on the multi-tree progression that was already in the game.
