DIY Methods to Fix QuickBooks Error 15243

This error is usually caused by a damaged file or an incomplete installation of QuickBooks software. Here are some steps you can take to fix this error:

Method 1: Check whether your payroll subscription is active or not

  • To do so, go to the Employees tab on the QuickBooks dashboard and click on My Payroll Service.
  • Next, select Account and Billing Information.

  • Close the Maintenance Page that appears on the screen.
  • QuickBooks will now validate your payroll subscription.
  • After validation is complete, payroll updates will begin.
  • Once the updates are installed, try running payroll again to check if such error still persists.

 

Method 2: Repair the QuickBooks Desktop Application
