Sony has simply invested some other $two hundred million in Epic Games as a part of a $1 billion funding spherical, Epic introduced today. Over a dozen traders contributed in the direction of Rocket League Trading the funding round, which valued the Fortnite developer at $28.7 billion. That’s over $10 billion more than Epic Games’ estimated value on the time of Sony’s predominant funding ultimate July.

Epic Games CEO Tim Sweeney is still the company’s controlling shareholder after the funding. In a press launch, Sweeney stated that Epic will use the funding to RL Prices  “help accelerate our paintings around building linked social studies in Fortnite, Rocket League and Fall Guys, even as empowering sport developers and creators with Unreal Engine, Epic Online Services and the Epic Games Store.”
