Stillachtal tour

On the Rohrmoostal touris a classic that should definitely be on the agenda when visiting Oberstdorf. Since the route is mainly a circular tour, only a few sections have to be traveled in both directions. Due to the quite a lot of meters in altitude and the sometimes steep uphill passages, an e-bike definitely pays off here. A challenge, but worth it in view of the impressions. The St. Anna chapel in Rohrmoos, built in 1568 and open all year round, is the oldest wooden chapel in southern Germany. After the detour to Alpe Osterberg, the tour leads above the Breitachklamm around the Engenkopf. However, the path from Alpe Dornach to Breitachtal is quite steep and requires some practice. Along the Breitach you then return to Oberstdorf by e-bike.

Of course, river cycle paths always have a special attraction for cyclists and e-bikers. The family-friendly and very well signposted Iller cycle path is no exception. The quality route, awarded four stars by the ADFC, leads from Oberstdorf to Ulm, where the Iller flows into the Danube after 146 kilometers. On the way are traditional villages and buildings that provide a deep insight into history. Among other things, the Fugger town of Weißenhorn, the Roman town of Kempten with the Archaeological Park Cambodunum and the Wiblingen monastery are passed. Even if the e-bike tour can easily be completed in three stages, you should plan enough time to explore the many attractions.
