Split Frame Clamshell Machines, OD Mounted

The MT Split Frame Clamshell machines are a combination of power, versatility, strength and

ease of use in a compact package. Our engineers gathered information from field operators

around the world to determine the areas needing improvement over traditional designs. 

With that in mind, we designed a series of Split Frame Clamshell Machines that provide a safer, 

 more convenient solution for your pipe application. Machining range from 0" up to 60" O.D.

 (0 - 1524 mm). Optional electric, pneumatic and hydraulic motors adapt to a variety of difficult

situations of on-site working condition.

Cutting, facing, beveling and counter boring preparations are possible on all machinable alloys

including stainless steel, duplex, super duplex, Inconel and other alloys.
