Try albion in case you're looking for new school old school runescape From what I have heard, people who prefer osrs tend to play to get the PvP, skill progression, and economy, which albion has in spades. The majority of the quest driven people I have talked to proceeded to OSRS gold. Should you love the mix of the 2 aspects of osrs then sadly there's not anything else out there for you.
As time has passed, drops have become more common amongst the participant pool only because more time has allowed for them to fall, so it's to be expected. As far as IRL currency value, I believe it is around $0.60/million gp although I might be somewhat off. There are drops from newer content worth hundreds of millions to a bit over a billion gp. I only started playing lately and it has been a blast up to now.
My bad. Yeah I was referring to OSRS.
Newer players have access to articles fairly quick to make 3-5 million an hour.
Even with all of the flack it gets, it has still got 40k online players in this time which puts it slightly under the amount of players currently playing Rust. Really curious what type of numbers it'll pull and as a mostly OSRS participant, I truly hope the game will not get review bombed by the OSRS players that are still mad with Buy Runescape gold, potentially scaring players off.
It is a mode that disables the choice to exchange with other players believing you'll have to earn everything yourself while at exactly the same time also disconnecting you from the more egregious forms of MTX RS3 offers.
