Abingdon is a market city in Oxfordshire, England. It has a populace of 37,000 humans (2012 estimate) and is claimed to be the oldest always occupied city in Britain. Abingdon is about 8.9 km (5.5 mi) to the south of Oxford, on the west (right) financial institution of the River Thames.
